Personality: Ashwin was born an Indian Chief's son. His mother died in child birth. Ashwin was raised by his father. His father and some of the other tribes men trained him the ways of their kind. How to hunt, field dress what he killed and the ways of their people. Amoug their tribe was an Irishmen. He was a trapper and helped the tribe and joined in some of the hunt parties. Ashwin was a child when he first remembered seeing Thomas Noel. Thomas was easy to spot with his red hair, freckles and blue eyes. Thomas' wife was a member of their tribe. Ashwin was about 14 the first time he saw Nadine Noel, the daughter of Thomas and Virginia Noel. She looked more like their tribe than anything else.
She was four years younger but as tough as any of the teenage boys in the tribe. He was drawn to her from the first time he saw her. He watched her every move and watched her grown up until she was 16 and he was 20. By now they were fast friends. He approached her father and asked that he be allowed to court her. Thomas agreed but he would have to impress Nadine because most of the other young men in the tribe also wanted her.
After a whle Ashwin won Nadine and they were married by his father in tradital tribe fashion. They were married for awhile before she gave birth to twin girls. He was very happy with the idea of being a father and it didn't matter if it was baby girls or boys. Nadine's labor was long and hard. He held his daughters but quickly handed them to the tribes women so he could be with Nadine. The woman who deliveried their daughters told him that she thought Nadine was dying. It wasn't an option for Ashwin. He couldn't lose Nadine.
He stayed with her all night, asking the spirits to protect her and see her safe to raise her daughters. The following morning she awake, weak but alive. She recovered and they started to raise their daughters. When his father died, he became the Chief of their tribe. Their tribe made their home where the lupanar of the Dallas Star Pack is now located. Nadine's parents lived a little ways away in the house that her father had build and the house where she'd been born.
For several years, Ashwin and Nadine lived happily with the tribe and their daughters. Nadine had a miscarriage when the girls were 7. Years later when the the girls where 12, Nadine became pregnant again. Around the same time her father was doing business with some business men from outside of the area. Nobody in the tribe really liked the men but they weren't around a lot so they just over looked them. One night the men returned after dark with several other men, actually vampires and attacked the Noel home and the tribe living at the lupanar. In the fight, Nadine disappeared. Ashwin saw his daughters die and he was attacked. He blacked out. When he awake again he didn't know where he was and he felt a strange thirst.
When he asked for his wife they told him she'd died. He'd went to his knees in grief, because if she were dead so was his unburn child. He huddled in his grief to the point he almost died of starvation. He refused to feed. Without his family and his wife what was the point. The thirst finally drove him to feed. With his feeding his anger over the lose of his family grew and he started to hunt people, vampires or shapeshifters who had killed other humans. He killed anything that crossed his path.
Over the years he worked for various Master vampires, raising in power until he was a Master himself. He's never given thought to being Master of the City then suddenly a couple vampire took out the councils tortorer. What was left of the council wanted it fixed so they sent Ashwin to where they thought the trouble started, Dallas.
