Sometimes Dreams Come True

[Lucinda Dawson]

It was almost 5 am. Lucinda was asleep, naked. Her latest boyfriend, if you could call him that lay beside her. He was a dancer at one of the strip clubs and a fellow werewolf. Lucinda was dreaming. She was at the club and it was packed. People were three deep at the bar. Her and Josh were working. Nadine had stepped outside with Mckenzie.

Mia was there to see Josh. Mia was very noticably pregnant now. Josh leaned over and told Lucinda he was going to step outside with Mia, he'd be right back. She watched them walk out the door. Maybe five minutes passed and she heard a click and a loud whish.

The next thing she saw was flames, everywhere. The club was burning and everyone was trying to get out. Some of the shifters had shifted and ran. Some were too hurt to shift. Her Ulfric, David being one of them. Natasha was dragging his bloody body out the door.

She went to the door to help Natasha get David, Josh and Mckenzie were trying to hold Nadine back. Mia was on the other side of Nadine trying to calm her. Nadine was screaming as she watched the shifters pulling bodies out of the building. When Nadine saw Natasha and Lucinda carriying David out she fell to her knees. That's when Lucinda woke up.

She was sweating. That had to be wrong. She sat up. Kyle, at least she thought his name was Kyle, was asleep. She got out of bed and grabbed her robe and went downstairs. She hadn't been asleep long. She debated who to call. She had no proof and only her vision but the visions had never been wrong. And this was going to happen, soon. A few weeks maybe another month because Mia was showing more in the vision than she does now.

Lucinda called David.

The only time David's phone would ring at 5 am was if something was wrong. When he seen it was Lucinda, he was startled. He answered it.
"You're still up?" He asked because the club had closed at 2. "What's up that I rated a call this early?"

[Lucinda Dawson]

She was silent for a minute. She didn't know how to start.
"Can you meet me somewhere? I have to tell you something." She said. She was walking and pacing in her kitchen. "It's about the club and the pack."
She was already thinking about how to stop what she saw.

[David Meeks]

She sounded scare which he'd never actually heard coming from Lucinda. There was a cafe down the street from his office. He told her and promised to meet her there in twenty minutes. He took a shower and dressed. He was sitting at a table with a cup of coffee when she arrived.

Lucinda spotted David immediately. She'd showered and dressed in jeans and a t-shirt with a black leather jacket. When she sat down David ordered a second cup of coffee for her. She just stared at him for a minute.
"I had a vision, someone is going to bomb the club." The waitress came back with her coffee. After she left Lucinda continued. "It's going to happen within the next four weeks I think."

David had heard of Lucinda's visions but she hadn't had one since she joined the pack. He didn't doubt her vision.
"Any idea who?" He asked. He stared at for a minute. "Why within four weeks?"

Lucinda watched him sip the coffee. She wanted to not see the club destroyed.
"I don't know who...and I say four weeks because Mia was showing more in my vision than she does now but not a lot more."
She'd seen Mia recently. It was going to happen in the next four weeks.

[David Meeks]

David sset the coffee down and stared at her.
"Mia was there?" He asked. "I'm going to call a meeting of the entire pack for tonight. Get some rest." He told her. He texted every pack member in his cell phone memory.

Lucinda nodded at him and stood up to leave. She went back home and went to bed and fell into a deep sleep.
