Amber is currently renting a house from David in the same neighborhood as the pack house. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bath ranch style home on a corner lot. The drive way is wide enough for two cars and ends in a two car garage. It is painted a soft blue color with grey stone work at the base of the walls. There is a top notch security system and a Ring Doorbell Camera. There is a large backyard that has a high wooden fence around it. There is a large gate along the back fence that lets out in the alley behind the house. It has a camera on it as well and rolls back and forth on a motorized track to open and close it. The backyard has a large patio with a built in fire pit in the center. Off to one side along the back of the yard is a small shed that Amber has converted into her new studio with windows all around it to let in natural light. Amber has not had much time to do much decorating. She has purchased furnishings but is still working on putting her personal touches on the home.
There is a stone entryway mudroom that has built in heavy wooden benches along one wall with a shelf above it with coat hooks. Amber has used some Navaho rugs to make cushions for the heavy wooden benches adding color to the space. The mudroom opens up into a large open concept living room, dining, and kitchen area.
The stone entryway transitions into hardwood floors as you step into the main portion of the home. It is one large open space with a large archway leading into a hallway on the opposite wall. Heavy wooden beams cross the ceilings at regular intervals. There is a large stone fireplace that is centered on one wall. There is a pair of heavy wooden chairs with cream colored soft cushions in front of the fireplace with small round wooden end tables next to them. There are soft warm teal colored throws over the back of the neutral tone chairs. Centered above the fireplace is one of Amber's paintings. The piece represented her memory of her beloved grandfather. It depicted his spirit hanging in the sky above open plains.
There is a massive dark brown leather sectional couch that makes up a conversational and viewing section of the living room facing a huge wooden entertainment center with a large flat screen tv. Sliding barn style doors hide the electronics and entertainment systems connected to the television. The entertainment section hid a ROKU and a gaming system. The sectional can seat 8 people and is heavy and well made. There is a large matching ottoman with a tray with an inlaid tile mosaic in black, turquoise, and browns that have a stylized wolf on it. This takes the place of where a coffee table would be. There are soft cream colored throws over the arm of the couch. There are a variety of throw pillows in different colors and textures that add color to the room.
The middle section of the room had a large wooden dining table that would seat 10 people. It was made of wood and was constructed to be heavy and sturdy. The dining table was constructed out a two large raw edged pieces of redwood that had had a gloss top with an acrylic piece in the middle colored with turquoise blue, silver, and white. It seemed to glow compared to the dark reddish brown wood around it. The dining room chairs matched the table and had soft cushions in a soft charcoal grey material.
Behind the table was a large granite kitchen island with 6 barstools in a redwood that matched the table. The barstools had high backs with black leather cushions and brass studs. The kitchen had stainless steel appliances and cream colored glass fronted cabinets on the upper half to show off the colorful stoneware dishes within. The backsplash was made up of smaller stone looking grey tiles. There were pops of turquoise blue, white, black, and red accents throughout the space. There was a doorway that led to a walk in pantry closet.
Through the archway into the hallway was the guest bathroom to the right. It had a bath/shower combination at one end with a sliding glass door. Next to that was the standard toilet. The vanity was white wood and pretty standard with a mirrored medicine cabinet above it. There was a basket for guests that included individually wrapped toothbrushes, tooth paste, razors, and hand lotion. There was a stainless steel soap dispenser next to the faucet that held an herbal scented hand soap. There were soft fluffy gray towels with smaller turquoise colored hand towels ready for use in a basket on the opposite side of the faucet.
One of the bedrooms Amber had turned into a home office. There was a desk with a piece of stained glass artwork hanging in the window behind the desk. The stained glass depicted rolling plains with a river cutting it through it with colorful feathers creating a border around the piece. There was a large colorful Navaho rug centered on the desk. There was a standard rolling desk chair behind the desk. There were two barrel guest chairs in a teal chenille with brass tacks on the other side of the desk. In one corner of the room was a chieftain's headdress crafted with eagle and raven feathers and leather. The piece was authentic and in excellent condition. Amber had managed to take a day trip up to her grandfather's cabin to grab a few personal items. Most of them where located in her office. In the other corner of the room was a large hand carved wolf sitting crouched and in a howling position muzzle lifted to the ceiling. The piece was about 4 foot tall and about 3 feet around.
There was a guest bedroom of course set up with a queen size bed, a matching dresser, and a comfy chair to curl up with a book or put on your shoes. The cream colored walls were a blank pallet that bracketed the store bought comforter in a solid navy blue. The sheets on the bed were soft cotton and in a soft dove gray. There were a few colorful throw pillows with multicolored feathers on them. The frame of the bed was a heavy wood with wrought iron decorative inserts. The dresser was large with a mirror on the back spanning about 4 feet along one wall. There was a studded chesterfield chair in dove gray off in one corner. On the wall above the bed was a large dream catcher with a hand painted drum in the center of it. On the wooden floor of the bedroom was a large beige throw rug that centered around the bed. It was a thick soft rug with long heavy fibers that felt luxurious on the feet.
Then there was the master bedroom and Amber's private space. Hardwood floors continued into the bedroom space. The large master bedroom had a king size four poster bed. The bed had a colorful quilt on it that had a medicine wheel stitched on it. The fabrics had various shades of teal, blue, and grey in a variety of floral prints. High quality soft cotton sheets in a charcoal gray contrasted against the quilt. There was a tallboy dresser with carved wooden flowers on it that matched the larger dresser with an oval mirror on the back which sat along one wall. At the foot of the bed was a long wooden bench. There was a reading nook with a book shelf and a large barrel style chair in a solid black with brass studs. There was a simple brass floor lamp in the reading nook corner. Above the bed was a large canvas that Amber had painted when her grandfather had been alive. It was one of the largest pieces she had ever painted. It was four feet tall and about 5 feet wide. It was a portrait of her grandfather on horseback wearing traditional clothes.
The master bathroom had grey stone tile throughout with black ceramic accents here and there. There was a large soaking tub in white ceramic in one corner next to a large glass walk in shower. The shower had a conservation head that locked in place or could be pulled off and moved around in stainless steel with a metal hose. There was the standard toilet along the opposite wall hidden in its own little closet. Opposite the tub was a long two person vanity in black wood with stainless steel faucets. Amber had purchased a teal stone wear dispenser set for the vanity counter. She also had some colorful woven baskets that held washcloths and hand towels. There was a large ornamental hook next to the bathtub that held a navy blue terry cloth robe. Large fluffy gray towels sat in a large woven basket next to the tub.
