After a major fallout with family and friends, Kali was running yet again. A life of filled with many women was taking affect the smoothly riding of her life. After refusing to fulfill parents request at a stable real life, a long time period was spent living on a beach.
At age 19, a job finally came her way. She took the job as a retail employee at a surf equipment shop. After a stream line of girls, causing much damage to family ties by periods of binges on a many indulgences, her dad personally disowned her from the family name and inheritance. Her mother had been battling her own battles of genetic disorders, Kali knew was coming her way. She'd eventually have to choose a path of becoming a were animal or a vampire.
The wedding with a long time girlfriend had almost happened, but the whole relationship scared her and cold feet sent her scrabbling for the next city on the map that would get her as far away as possible without a paper trail. She didn't own anything but her car and her black plastic garbage bag of clothing.
As for the friends she did have, Kaleah didn't have after bailing out on the wedding.
She made her way from city to city using the money she had swiped out of her account before her father had cut her off. She saved three thousand of the money for an apartment and living once she ran out of money for gas. Time could only tell how long it would take her past to catch up with her but she was expecting a few fights along the way.
