History:
Drashar was born in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. She was a 4th generation Italian. Her grandparents had come to the United States from Italy hoping to find a better life. Her great great grandfather was a master carpenter and his work can still be found in some of the older historic homes in the area. Her great grandfather started his own construction business Scovini Construction. It was the start of a legacy, every generation since has worked for the company and expanded it. Scovini Construction was now one of the largest construction companies in Dallas. Her father was now the CEO and her grandfather was retired. Almost her entire family worked for the construction company. She had the typical large loud boisterous Italian family. She was her daddy’s darling as the only girl. He of course thought she should be treated like the princess he wanted her to be. She had 3 older brothers, Daniel, Antonio, and Giovanni. She had a fairly typical childhood. Family was very important to her. Her father thought she was delicate and should have a more “feminine” career. Of all the Scovini children though, she was most like him. Construction fascinated her. Her father would not let her get her hands “dirty” by becoming a general contractor so she had gone to college for the more “feminine and appropriate career” of architect. She had graduated with a degree in a structural engineering and design from Texas A&M. Her father was proud of her of course. He still did not want her to swing a hammer but he relented that she was good at what she did.

Financial Information: She came from an affluent family and had money that she had inherited from her grandmother. She drives a Chevy Volt and lives in a penthouse apartment in one of the apartment buildings her father had built that is located in West Village not far from the Scovini Construction offices located in downtown Dallas where she works.

Family Background:

His talent and love of woodworking was something he strived to pass on to future generations. Her great grandfather started his own construction business Scovini Construction. It was the start of a legacy, every generation since has worked for the company and expanded it. Scovini Construction was now one of the largest construction companies in Dallas. Her father was now the CEO and her grandfather was retired even though he still sat on the board of directors and had voting shares. Almost her entire family worked for the construction company. Her mother was their father’s secretary. Antonio was the VP in charge of operations. Daniel was the VP of accounting. Giovanni had opted out of the family business to become a lawyer who specialized in Business Law. While he did not work just for Scovini Construction he did handle all the firms’ legal business and contracts.

Youth:
Drashar was born in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. She grew up as the only girl in a large Italian family. Her family was large, loud, boisterous, and energetic. Her father wanted to treat her as a delicate princess. He still thought of her a delicate doll in ribbons and lace. She was her daddy’s darling as the only girl. She had other ideas of course. Not only was the youngest child, she was the only girl. She grew up wanting to be like her brothers. She learned fast how to hold her own with her older brothers. While she was not able to keep up with them totally, she managed to find ways to satisfy her need to be competitive with them. When they went out for football, she asked for karate lessons. She managed to convince her father that it would help her learn self-defense and didn’t every girl need to know that? When she was little, they were often babysat by their grandparents while their parents were working. She grew close to both her grandparents. Her grandfather still loved the act of building a home and he taught her how to wield a hammer and use a drill. Her brothers really didn’t care to visit jobsites with him, but she was always willing to learn and go with him. She learned her love of good food and cooking from her grandmother. She was soaked up their attention like a sponge. Her parents’ careers were already busy and took up most of their time by the time she came along. She knew they loved her but they did not really understand her. She was not the delicate flower and socialite her parents wanted her to be. Her parents were a little cold and all about business. Her grandparents really shaped her character and work ethic, because of that she wanted to earn everything she had. She had high self esteem and an integrity that some of her family lacked.

Teen Years:
Her teen years were tempestuous. Her father and she fought continuously. He had a very old school way of thinking about his little girl. He felt that sense he made such good money that his little girl should only focus on marrying and having children. He did not really see a need for her to be educated. When she asked permission to do a special college classes in high school he balked. He felt she did not respect him like a daughter should and so the fighting continued. Her beloved grandmother Annamarie died during her junior year. Her grandmother believed that every woman should have their own money. She also understood that her son would never understand her granddaughter’s need to prove herself and be her person. She left half of everything she owned to Drashar, and the other half to her beloved husband of 50+ years. Drashar was one of the few to shed tears at her grandmother’s funeral. The rift between her and her father had grown. She graduated high school with top honors and at the top of her class.

College Years
She went to college at Texas A&M. Her father refused to pay for her college education. He informed her “Why should I pay for an expensive education when you will work for one year and then marry and quit to have babies and raise them?” He had no problems paying for his sons’ education as they would need to work for the rest of their lives or so she had been told on more than one occasion. So she used some of the money her grandmother had left her to pay for her education. She had a jump start on college due to special programs and credits she earned while in high school allowing her to start college as a junior. She had graduated with a degree in a structural engineering and design from Texas A&M only 2 short years later. Her father was proud of her of course and was quick to claim her accomplishment as his own. Her father apologized and they reconciled but she no longer could bear to live at home. So she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she took a paid internship for 2 years at the age of 20.

Adulthood
Las Vegas was exciting to her. It was fast paced and full of energy. It was a younger person’s town. Construction was never ending in this town where adults came to play, which was a great place to start her career as an architect. She had settled into life away from her family. She grew more confident and blossomed into a mature beautiful woman. She was about a year into her internship when she was celebrating another accomplishment and milestone in her life. She had passed her certification exam to become a licensed certified engineer. It was the last step to opening her own design and engineering firm. Her friends had taken her out on the strip to celebrate. They were coming out of a dance club in the Luxor, when it happened. A wereleopard high on some new exotic street drug called Smoke and Mirrors, came crashing through the crowd and into her. He bounded away being chased by policemen. His strength was enough to send her flying and she hit a light pole hitting her head. She woke up in the hospital with a concussion. She had a small scratch on her forearm. She spent a few days in the hospital with a cracked skull. Her life changed forever that day.

Life as a Wereleopard
She had been home from the hospital only a day when she had a visitor at her door. It was a man she had never met before. His name was Jacob and he explained that he was the local Nimir-raj, leader of the local wereleopards. He explained what that little scratch meant on her forearm. Sure enough a week later at the full moon, she shifted for the first time. She spent the next year learning to control her beast. Her control and powers grew over time. She could have stayed in Las Vegas but she did not want to fight Jacob who was pressuring her to become his mate. While she liked Jacob, she had no desire to be forced to sleep with him. So she decided to move home to Dallas and approached her father as working as a design engineer for him. Her mother was thrilled that she was coming home. Her father had to concede that she did good work and would be an asset to the company. While not really happy about letting her father have any control over her life, it was better than becoming Jacob’s whore. So now she is starting another chapter in her life. Will you be in it?

Skills and Abilities:
She has all the basic were abilities of heightened senses, preternatural strength, speed, and agility. She has the ability to sense preternatural energies around her, such as other weres and those with psychic abilities who are not shielding.
Alpha Abilities:
She has developed great control over her beast and has learned to shield what she is.
She can shift using less energy where she does not have to feed immediately nor does she lapse into unconsciousness.
She can share strength through blood sharing.
Weaknesses:
She does not want her family to learn that she is a wereleopard. She goes to great lengths to hide what she is from them. Moving home will prove challenging since her family will once again insert themselves forcefully into her life. She is still learning her abilities and while she has accepted what she has become; she fears that one day her beast will be all that she is.
