Small Meows filled Lana's empty apartment. It had been several hours since she had gotten home with the small bundle of joy. Spending a pretty penny on the kitten's comforts while she would leave. She'd spend a half hour following the ball of fur around the house as it wondered from the door all the way to the her bedroom at the left at the end of the hall. She let the cat investigate her bedroom, and lay for a while. With a small smile she leaped on to the bed to join the kitten for a snuggle.
"Much better, don't you agree," she said as she looked into the small eyes of her new little friend. With a small meow her response was met. Lana came from the bed and headed for the cat's bag of new belongings. Inside the bag, a small foot round plush bed, with several rainbow colored mice, and small bag of liter as well as a larger bag of food.
Lana didn't know much about brands, but she picked the bag that stood out to her with a kitten who was meowing at the floating salmon shaped piece of cat food.
As she rambled through the bad she headed to the bathroom to set up the kitty litter and food and water dish. The kitten meowed as the scent of cat food filled the bathroom, responding franticly with small meows, continuing long one after the other.
"Hold on, geez. I fed you in the car on the way! God you are going to have a huge appetite." she told the kitten as she picked the small one up. And again it meowed franticly as it scratched downward toward the food. She released the kitten and let it eat.
" I think your name shall be....Ayesha," she directed as she watched the small cat eat the salmon pieces ferociously.
